Important General Information on Bookings - Please Read Carefully

Arrival and Departure

Check-in is 4:00 pm.

Check-out is 12:00 pm with clean-up fully completed by that time.

There is a three (3) -day minimum to rent at any time. 

Weekly rentals are usually Saturday to Sat.

Restrictions

  1. No smoking
  2. No Pets Allowed - Really sorry - no exceptions! 
  3. Maximum number of guests is up to six (6) persons. 
  4. No groups of more than 3 unrelated people. 
  5. No additional visitors: all guests to be registered and paid for.
  6. No additional overnight visitors: all guests to be registered and paid for.
  7. Not suitable for children under six (6) years of age.
  8. Day visitors must also be registered and may be subject to $10/day usage fee.
  9. There is a four (4) day minimum for bookings that include any part of July and August. All summer bookings generally should start or end on a Saturday. Note: Week-long bookings receive a 1-day discount. 
  10. Guest Self-Catering Protocol in Effect. Guest are required to clean the rental space(s) at the end of their stay and return it to the same level of cleanliness as when they arrived. A checklist of what this entails, along with the location of cleaning supplies and equipment is provided. Generally, this means that guests are required to clean areas used (including Hillside if applicable), normally the kitchen, bathroom(s), vacuuming, dusting. A cleaning fee of $300 will be charged for sub-optimal cleaning, established at check-out time.
  11. Guests must pack out their garbage and recycling.
NOTE: We only rent to family and friends.  If you are friends of family or friends, we will find a way to get to know you as trusted guests prior to your ability to rent. As this is our vacation home, we reserve the right to refuse guests.
